Paris Café XXII (Montmartre Bistro), French Landscape Painting

Paris Café XXII

"Spring is when you feel like whistling even with a shoe full of slush." (Doug Larson)

Bright yellow and orange walls of this bistro did make me feel like whistling.  In a neighborhood where the color is dominantly gray, the bistro looked as if it was the first spring flower peeking out of the snow.

A bistro is a casual dining spot if you're looking for a little bit more than what a typical cafe offers.  There the food choices may not be as diverse as at a restaurant, but a bistro is perfect for a simpler and cheaper meal.

Those of you heading for Paris, this bistro review may help you find the right one.
