Roma, Italia II (Spanish Steps)

I hope you can feel the intense heat of a Roman summer in the dry brushstrokes on the buildings and in the lost edges of the trees.  I hope you can hear the people laughing and talking and that you'll join them for the fun of being here.

The area around here is always full of people, especially in the summer.  I know it's a touristy thing to do but who could leave Rome without visiting the Spanish Steps?  And if you're lucky enough to be there, who wouldn't think about the romantic movie Roman Holiday?  Although there may be only a slim chance of meeting a royal princess here, you can pretend to be Gregory Peck or Audrey Hepburn while soaking up the Italian sun.
