For today's post of
San Diego 100, I move away from a city to a more rural setting. It is nice to be able to be in the countryside within an hour of driving in San Diego.
Santa Ysabel is a small rural community, a gateway to the mountains east of San Diego. There are not many things except probably a dozen or so buildings in the center of the town, which you can drive past in the blink of an eye. This general store is one of them. I always wanted to paint it because I liked its simplicity, and I am glad I finally did.
