My #2 painting of
San Diego 100 is the Coronado Bridge. It links San Diego and Coronado over San Diego Bay.
A view from this 11,288-foot-long bridge is spectacular. Since there is no walkways for pedestrians, plein-air painting on it is not possible. So one has to rely on a camera (or imagination?) to get this angle overlooking the Naval Station.
I took this quick shot, to use for this painting, near the highest point, about 200 feet, just before a curve toward Coronado.
