Although equine art is not my main genre, I enjoy painting horses occasionally. The aspect that attracts me most about equine subject is the role of horses in human life, or how they are important in our daily lives, in transportation, sports, agriculture, entertainment, etc. This scene depicts a training session of pure-bred Spanish Horses at the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art in the city of Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. They were beautiful, elegant and very intelligent.
