Sunset time is the best time to be in the Mission Bay Park -- at least for me. When most of the boats have come back to be moored for the night, the quietness returns to this marina.
I was painting here a few hours before and I heard boats coming and going, children running in the park, seagulls chattering, and even occasional cries of a sea lion. Now everything is gone. The stillness of water tells me it is time for me to go home, too.
