Whether you agree this is the top must-see sight in Barcelona or feel it's a bit too overrated and touristy, Las Ramblas is a captivating street.  Once you experience it, you can't get the image off your mind.  At least that's how it is with me.

Even years after my visit there, I still remember the lively atmosphere of this street as if it was yesterday.  I feel I can still hear people talking...  And in no time I am walking under the cool shadows of plane trees with other shoppers and watching street performers entertaining passers-by.
