Following yesterday's post, I have three more paintings today of La Jolla, a beautiful coastal community in San Diego, California.

I don't know where this name came from, but it is widely believed that the origin is Spanish words for "the jewel (la joya)."  True or not, it doesn't matter.  Anybody who's been there will agree La Jolla really sparkles with its unique charm.
