A look into one of the narrow alleys in the heart of the Spaccanapoli neighborhood reveals nothing but mystery.
This is a historic neighborhood in Naples where dozens of small streets like this are dark even in the daytime. I see a lot of laundry hung by clothelines above the streets, but is it the only reason the sunllight is blocked here, I wonder?
Naples gives me a kind of culture shock, which is definitely different from what I feel in other places in Italy. The mystery I think I saw in this street may hold a key to understand what it really is.
