This is another view of the Old Port in Marseille, France (click
here to see my first one).
I can't really tell just how many boats are using this port because there are so many as far as my eyes can see. They are mainly small, simple fishing boats and sailboats.
Because of the depth being not sufficient enough, larger boats and cargo ships go to a new port that was built a short distance from here. Without the sight of big luxury yachts or cruise ships, the Old Port doesn't appear to be pretentious like some of the other harbors along the Mediterranean coast. It feels more like a people's harbor.
