Sunset Cliffs (SD100-41)
A panorama, by definition is "an unbroken view of an entire surrounding area." From time to time, I make panoramic paintings such as this one in a horizontal format. It really frees me in the sense that I don't have to break up a beautiful scenery. Also, I physically enjoy moving my brushes from one side to the other across the paper. There is a caveat, however. I may tend to put too many things in a scene! I try to pay attention especially to the design of such a painting, so a viewer's eyes travel throughout the painting easily.
