At the south end of this beach, a handful of para surfers are taking advantage of nice breeze and a few more minutes of sunlight before nightfall. I don't think they are going to leave anytime soon. Only their pickup trucks and baby palms are watching them quietly.
I'm always attracted to the contrast of light and dark, but I've been fascinated especially with the twilight lately. At this magical time, things silhouetted against the light look so dark and they all appear almost black. But if you look carefully, colors are still there, hiding behind a veil of darkness.
