Portofino, Italy II

A quiet harbor with elegantly colorful buildings and lush green hills in the background -- This view may be one of the top reasons why people choose to visit Portofino.  That includes a lot of artists, too.  On any day, you may find somebody painting at or near the harbor.

Not just a quaint little fishing village, Portofino is also a playground for the rich and famous.  In fact, to the left of this scene were several gigantic super deluxe private boats on the day I visited there.  But I was too busy capturing the atmosphere of this special place to notice any celebrities who might have been walking by me.
