As soon as we enter Olivenhain in the north part of San Diego County, we can sense that this is a community of nature-loving people. They are known here for their love of gardening and farming. No wonder trees and flowers are everywhere. Houses here are not built closely together as in many newer communities nearby, so it feels spacious, too.
The Hotel in this painting stands amongst tall Eucalyptus trees. Morning sunlight filtered through leaves makes everything here look soft.
