Barcelona, Spain IV (Las Ramblas), Spanish Landscape Painting

Barcelona, Spain IV
Barcelona, Spain IV

California Watercolor Association's 2009 National Exhibition came to a close yesterday.  It was my pleasure to have this painting "Barcelona, Spain IV" included in the show.  I'd like to thank everyone who visited the exhibit during its 2-month showing in San Francisco.

There are still a few more days left to see another fine exhibition of watercolor works in Moultrie, Georgia.  My painting Journey Home VI was selected to be in the 2009 National Exhibition of the Georgia Watercolor Society.  It was given Da Vinci Paint Award.

To see a watercolor "exhibition of exceptional quality and original vision (quote: juror Robert Burridge)," the Western Federation of Watercolor Societies' Annual Exhibition is not to be missed.  This year the exhibition is being sponsored by the San Diego Watercolor Society.  I am extremely pleased that Mr. Burridge chose my Lisbon Cafe VI to receive David Gale Memorial Award (Second Place).  This exhibit will run through May 30 in San Diego.
