Oceanside (SD100-60)

According to Wikipedia, Oceanside is the third largest city in San Diego County, but the city's downtown area has a small town feel.  With a movie theater like this in the painting, on a palm-tree-lined main street, it could be any town in southern California.

There is one thing, however, that makes Oceanside a very unique place and no other towns can have that.  Part of the 1986 hit movie "Top Gun" was filmed here.  There was a Victorian-style house where a character played by Tom Cruise came looking for his instructor played by McGillis.  People here call it the Top Gun house.
