When I want to watch the movie with a very touching story and breath-taking sceneries, "Il Postino" is always one of my top choices.
This Italian film is about Mario, a naive mail carrier and how his meeting with Pablo Neruda, a famous Chilean poet, changed his life. It blew my mind in many ways when I first saw it, and I watched it many times thereafter (Click here to read

One of the things that captivated me so strongly was a setting of this film: A poor Italian fishing village on a tiny island in the 1950's. Maybe a place like this doesn't exist in today's Italy any more, but when I finally visited Procida last year, I felt like I came back to an island I had known for a long time.
